Pants Hunting
is the ghillie pants in the link below ideal for goose and duck hunting?
i am sorta new to hunting and need some clothes for this year’s waterfowl hunt (mostly goose and most important) i found these nice ghillie pants online and i was wondering if the color would work for geese/waterfowl hunting? PS it is the color you see when you open it, also there is a matching jacket. if this camo pattern is not ideal than what is the best camo for waterfowl?
It says it should work, but you really want to wear something like overalls or thick waterproof pants, since it might be colder. You can wear those if your shooting ducks over a cornfield next to a pond, but that’s about it.
Add on: If its possible, you CAN Wear those outside of your overalls, but it might get a little toasty down south, if you know what I mean.
The best camo for waterfowl is the one that best matches your surrounding area.
